North Wash—Poison Spring

2023-11-18 — our group of 8 did the technical section in about 2.5 hours. We rapped the big rappel at the head of the canyon and then most downclimbed the rest of the canyon. It was completely dry. We added Arscenic before finishing the day. It took us about 6.5 hours car-to-car to complete both routes.

What to Expect
  • This route requires standard technical gear.
  • You can usually expect at least some pools or water with little or no current.
  • Competent and smaller groups (4±) typically complete the route in 3–5 hours
In my opinion, this route was pretty good and is worth doing again.
