2023-11-18 — our group of 8 took about 1.75 hours from the first rappel until arriving at the arch on the exit. We rapped the three-stage rappel at the head of the canyon and then downclimbed the rest of the canyon. It was completely dry. The corkscrew section near the end was awesome. We did this route immediately after finishing Slideanide. Don't miss seeing Arsenic Arch on your climb out. It took us about 6.5 hours car-to-car to complete both routes.
- Plenty of opportunities to practice downclimbing skills
- Leave your rope at the top and retrieve it on exit
- Combine with Slideanide for a complete day
