We purchased two youth kayaks in late-2016, but they didn't get much use until we had an adult one to use as well. Until 2018, every time I've been kayaking, it's been with a borrowed kayak or an invitation to join a friend. My first time in a kayak was in the very late 1980s while on staff at Camp Bartlett. It was awesome gliding across the shallows of the camp's lake where the bigger boats couldn't go.
