Notes:
  • No permit required!
  • Shorter, not as good as Birch Hollow, bigger pain of approach
  • Route requires a 5 mile shuttle. A mountain bike could work for the shuttle
  • Any vehicle can be driven to the trailhead with no problems during dry conditions
  • The road becomes impassable to all vehicles (including four wheel drive) during wet conditions
  • There is no good camping in the immediate area of the trailheads
