Spring, Fall, Winter—Spring and Fall are preferred
Additional Gear:
50ft rope for downclimbs, wetsuits recommended in cold seasons, long sleeve and pants recommended
Water:
Varies quite a bit, knee deep or lots of water after recent rains. If the top section of slot has pools, the bottom section will have even more.
Flash Flood Risk:
Moderate in the short upper slot section
Expected Time:
2+ hours if using the climber’s exit, otherwise 6–7 hours
Notes:
  • Lower section below the slot is brushy and challenging.
