Ridgid 10 in. Compact Table Saw
I purchased the R45171 Ridgid 10 inch compact table saw at Home Depot in January 2019. Using the saw on it's included X-stand, I immediately built a rolling stand with storage drawers to make better use of the space underneath, make it easier to move around my garage, and increase stability when cutting down 4x8 material. I also built a miter sled that also stores on a shelf under the drawers of the rolling stand.
I am impressed with the accuracy of this saw. I regularly rip down 4x8 material into 2.125"x96" strips and the scrap piece at the end is usually within a 1/16th-inch consistent width from end to end.
At under $350, this saw is considered a budget contractor saw, but I feel it has features that are consistent with larger, more expensive saws. It has a rip width capacity of 26 inches. It's easy to see the measurement guage as I am regularly cutting material using 1/8th and 1/16th inch dimensions. The soft start motor is a very nice feature.
