Micro Cord

I've purchased Micro Cord from various retailers on various dates and used with several products. I usually carry five 10 foot lengths in my ditty bag that I can use as extra cordage if needed. All five have loops tied in each end so I can pair them up to have 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 foot lengths if needed.

Micro Cord is a polyester nylon braided line made by Atwood Rope. The 3/64" 1.18mm line has a tensile strength of 100 lbs/46kg. A 125 foot spool weighs in at 2oz/57g. Micro Cord is about the same diameter as Z-Line but only has about half the strength as Z-Line has a Dyneema core.
